One hour from Da Nang and 45 minutes from Hoi An by car, My Son Sanctuary - a grand complex of centuries-old impressive Cham temples humbly hides deep inside the remote sumptuous jungle of Quang Nam province.
Recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999, My Son Sanctuary boasts an ancient vibe with a dozen mysteries about temple-building and brick-making techniques of the Champa Kingdom. Once the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom, this site offers a fascinating glimpse into a civilization that thrived from the 4th to the 13th centuries. Walking through the lush valley surrounded by majestic mountains, you will hear captivating stories from our local expert guide, uncover the spiritual significance of the Shiva-worshipping temples, and enjoy a traditional, mesmerizing Apsara dance performance. Cancellation policy
- Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: No refund
- If your flight is delayed, you have food poisoning, or you become sick and are unable to attend the tour, we will reschedule your start date (depending on our availability) with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost.

Our friendly guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Da Nang or Hoi An. Enjoy a scenic countryside drive to the sanctuary.
Arrive at My Son Sanctuary
Upon arrival, we will take a short electric buggy ride and a brief walk through the peaceful jungle trail to reach the main complex.
Exploring the Ancient Ruins
Wander through the various groups of temples (Groups B, C, D, A, G, E, F). Your guide will share captivating stories about the Cham people's spiritual lives, their worship of Shiva, and the fascinating history behind the bomb craters left from the Vietnam War.
Traditional Cham Dance Show
Take a break and enjoy a captivating Apsara dance performance, showcasing the traditional music, colorful costumes, and graceful movements of the Cham culture.
Local Cuisine Experience

Is there a dress code for visiting My Son Sanctuary?
Yes, as My Son is a sacred religious site, visitors are respectfully asked to dress modestly. Please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees.
What is the best time of day to start the tour?
We highly recommend starting early in the morning (around 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM) to avoid the midday heat and large crowds. Alternatively, an afternoon start (around 1:00 PM) offers a quieter experience.
Is the tour suitable for elderly people or wheelchair users?
While we use an electric buggy for the main transfer, exploring the temples requires walking on uneven, unpaved jungle trails. Therefore, it might be challenging for wheelchair users or those with severe mobility issues.
Can we adjust the itinerary?
Absolutely! Since this is a custom private tour, you can adjust the starting time and the pace of the tour to perfectly fit your group's preferences.
Is the included lunch suitable for vegetarians/vegans?
