Cancellation policy

  • Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: No refund 
  • If your flight is delayed, you have food poisoning, or you become sick and are unable to attend the tour, we will reschedule your start date (depending on our availability) with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost.

Day 1: Early Arrival in Hanoi - City tour - Food tour

Leave your bags in the hotel and head out for a city tour around Hanoi. Visit Hanoi’s landmarks including Tran Quoc Pagoda, The Temple of Literature, One-Pillar Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

  • At 2:30 PM, embark on a walking Hanoi food tour of the Old Quarter to savor authentic Hanoi cuisine. Indulge in local delicacies such as Pho, Banh My, Bun Cha, Egg Coffee, etc. Explore Dong Xuan – the largest central market in town.
  • Alternatively, you can opt for a Hanoi cooking class and learn to cook authentic Vietnamese cuisine!
  • Stroll near Hoan Kiem Lake and wrap up your day with a captivating Water Puppet Show, a unique Vietnamese art form.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hanoi

  • At 8 AM, take a three-hour trip out of Hanoi and enjoy a relaxing day kayaking, swimming, and exploring stunning caves on a five-star cruise in the UNESCO Heritage Site of Halong Bay.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Hue

  • Fly from Hanoi to Hue. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the Imperial City, visiting the Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, and a King’s Tomb. Enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch at a local pagoda.
  • Next, don your helmet and embark on an exciting adventure with a Hue motorbike tour. Explore the outskirts of Hue from the back of a motorbike, and visit the Rice Museum and American Bunker Hill. You’ll also have the chance to learn how to make traditional Vietnamese “Non La” and incense.
  • Overnight in Hue.

Day 4: Hue - Hoian

  • Begin a 4-hour journey to Hoi An at 9:30 AM. Along the way, make a stop at Lap An Lagoon to enjoy the beautiful scenery, use the restroom, and grab some snacks or coffee.
  • En route to the “BBC Top Gear” Hai Van Pass and behold the breathtaking view of ocean and clouds. Pass by Danang City and the Dragon Bridge.
  • Arrive in Hoi An at around 2:30 PM. At 3:30 PM, embark on a walking tour of the ancient town. Visit the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, an old Vietnamese house, and a Chinese temple.
  • Treat yourself to some custom-made clothes. Go shopping, join a lantern-making class, or take a boat ride along the Thu Bon River to enjoy the sunset (optional). Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: You Decide!

Within just four days, you’ve done and seen so much. Today, you can choose to have a relaxing day sunbathing on the beach, explore the shops in town, visit My Son, or embark on a mini adventure to the Hoian countryside on a bike tour. Alternatively, you can visit the nearby city of Danang, or explore Bana Hills and the Golden Bridge. Overnight in Hoi An. (Optional choices: Hoi An Bike Tour, Bana Hills and Golden Bridge, Danang City Tour, My Son Sanctuary Private Tour).

Day 6: Hoian - Saigon - Saigon Cyclo Tour

  • Depart from Hoi An and enjoy a 45-minute ride to Da Nang Airport. From there, take a morning flight to Saigon.
  • Upon arrival, have lunch and then embark on a Saigon cyclo tour at 3:00 PM. During the tour, visit significant city landmarks such as the Independence Palace, the Central Post Office, the Cathedral, and more. Gain insights into the perspectives of both sides and learn about the city’s and its people’s experiences during the Vietnam War.
  • Have a relaxed and leisurely night. You can either visit the Coffee Apartment, savor drinks at the historic Rex Hotel’s rooftop bar, or dance the night away at the vibrant Bui Vien bar street.

Day 7: Cu Chi Tunnel - War Remnant Museum - Food Tour on Motorbikes

  • Depart from the city center at 8:00 AM and travel to Cu Chi. Enjoy a guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, which ends at 1:30 PM.
  • Check out the War Remnant Museum.
  • Reserve your spot for this afternoon’s Saigon street food tour on motorbikes. Make the most of your last night in Vietnam and don’t forget to pack your luggage! Safe flight home on the next day!

No, flight tickets and accommodations are not included in the tour package. This gives you the flexibility to choose the hotels and airlines that best fit your budget and style. However, all ground transportation with an air-conditioned vehicle is included.

Can I customize this itinerary?

Yes, absolutely! This itinerary serves as a reference. If you prefer to start in Ho Chi Minh City instead of Hanoi, or if you want to swap out certain activities, we can adjust the time and schedule to fit your flights, preferences, and well-being.

Are meals included in the tour?

Meals are included during specific activities, such as on the Halong Bay cruise, the vegetarian lunch in Hue, and all the food during the Hanoi and Saigon food tours. Other daily meals and beverages are not included, allowing you to explore local restaurants freely.

Is the tour suitable for vegetarians/vegans or people with food allergies?

Yes! A vegetarian lunch is already included in Hue. For the food tours and other meals, please let us know your dietary restrictions in advance so our guides can prepare the best alternative local options for you.

What should I bring for the motorbike and cyclo tours?

We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a small cross-body bag for your valuables are also a good idea. Helmets for the motorbike tours will be provided by our drivers.
